We at dadu offer three main access methods, each with distinct advantages. Step-by-step installation on Android
- Visit dadu.bid on your Android device browser and navigate to the App section.
- Tap "Download APK" and allow the file to download to your device storage.
- Open your file manager, locate the dadu APK file, and tap to install. If prompted, enable "Unknown sources" in settings, then retry installation.

Common installation issues and solutions
Android users may encounter "Installation failed — unknown error" if their device security settings block sideloading. Ensure "Unknown sources" is enabled in your device Settings → Security or Developer Options. Some devices have variations in menu names; search your device manual or manufacturer support if unsure. Android may also require you to explicitly grant storage permissions to the file manager before installation can proceed.
If the APK downloads but does not open, verify the download completed fully by checking file size. Interrupted downloads may corrupt the APK file. Re-download and retry installation. On iOS, if the browser refuses to load our dadu site, clear Safari cache and cookies, then try again. If a home-screen shortcut does not work, delete it, revisit our dadu site in Safari, and use the Share menu to create a new "Add to Home Screen" shortcut.

Data, permissions, and account security on our dadu app
Our dadu Android app requests minimal permissions: internet access (required to connect to our servers), storage access (to cache account data and transactions), and optional permissions for push notifications. We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos. Storage access allows the dadu app to retain your balance and recent transactions locally; this data is encrypted and not shared with third parties.
Your dadu login credentials (username and password) are never stored on your device in plain text. When you log in, our app sends encrypted credentials to our servers, and a session token is stored securely. Your device token for push notifications is linked only to your dadu account, not to your phone's identity.
If you uninstall the dadu app, all local cached data is deleted. Your account, balance, transaction history, and personal information remain secure on our servers. Reinstalling the app and logging in again restores full access to your account.
